Chocoly (also known as Schokoly) is a deliciously strategic tile-laying game where players compete to build the largest connected area of their chosen chocolate—dark, milk, or white!
Each player holds a hand of four 2x2 chocolate tiles, drawn from a shared pool. Each tile features a tempting mix of two or three types of chocolate squares. On your turn, you’ll place one tile onto the growing board, aiming to expand your chocolate empire while cleverly cutting off your opponents.
🍫 But there’s a twist—wooden Smarties add a second layer of strategy! These can be used to block placements or enable stacking tiles in a second layer, creating or breaking key connections between chocolate zones.
👥 Player count adds variation:
With 3 players, each controls a color.
With 2 or 4 players, an unused neutral chocolate color comes into play. If players or teams surround a group of this neutral chocolate, they score bonus points—adding a tactical layer of area control.
Originally inspired by the earlier game Scho K.O., Chocoly adds depth with a third chocolate type and shared red Smarties, which are evenly distributed among all players.
Perfect for fans of abstract games with sweet layers of strategy, Chocoly serves up a clever, fast-paced battle of chocolate dominance.
