As leaders of unique fantasy races, players work to construct the city from its very foundations, vying for influence and control. This standalone game unfolds centuries before Gloomhaven, chronicling the city's original rise.
Using action cards, players strategically place resource buildings, refine raw materials into advanced goods, and deliver them to construction sites to earn prestige. No one can build alone—each race has access to only a limited set of resources, requiring cooperation and trade with rivals to develop the city’s infrastructure.
A dynamic auction system adds another layer of strategy, as players vote on new building proposals and their placement. Influence points can tip the balance, allowing players to shape the city's future and secure their dominance
