Le Bois des Couadsous – A Memory-Powered Race for Hazelnuts!
Deep in the forest, the race is on! Players must navigate a mysterious woodland to collect hazelnuts, and the first to gather five wins the game.
How to Play:
🌲 A 3x3 grid of forest cards forms the playing area, with each card featuring one of three images—mushroom, leaf, or stone—in one of three colors—yellow, red, or blue.
🥜 Around the grid, hazelnut cards (worth 1-3 nuts) await players who successfully cross the forest.
1️⃣ On your turn, place your squirrel card before a row or column and attempt to cross it.
2️⃣ Before flipping each face-down forest card, guess what’s on the other side—either the image or the color (depending on the current game mode).
3️⃣ If you’re correct, keep moving toward the hazelnuts at the other end!
4️⃣ If you’re wrong, your turn ends immediately, and the next player starts.
Memory & Strategy Twist:
🔄 If a new player chooses the same row or column, they already know some revealed cards—but only if they remember them!
🎨 Players start by guessing either colors or elements, but once a nut is reached, everyone switches modes (colors to elements and vice versa).
