Space Gate Odyssey – Lead Your Confederation to the Stars! 🚀✨
The future of humanity lies in your hands in Space Gate Odyssey. A system of viable exoplanets has been discovered, and the Confederations are racing to colonize them. In this 2-4 player development and flow-management game, you are the leader of one of these factions, guiding your settlers through the Odyssey command station to claim as many exoplanets as possible.
After decades of research and technological advancements, humanity is ready to leave Earth behind and explore a new star system. The key to interstellar travel? Space gates—portals built only in space, allowing settlers to travel to the far-flung exoplanets. But only the Confederations with the best space stations will control the gates, and the race is on to colonize.
How to Play:
At the start of the colonization era, players use the space gates to send settlers to one of the first three discovered planets. Each planet presents different landing conditions, and the choice of where to colonize is a strategic decision that will impact your influence in the system.
As soon as a planet is fully colonized, Confederations gain influence based on their strategic placement. This unlocks access to the two later discovered planets. At the end of the game, after all five exoplanets have been colonized, players’ stations are teleported to Hawking Planet. The Confederation with the most influence will be promoted to Governor of the new system.
Key Challenges:
Your success depends on your ability to efficiently develop and arrange your space station. The flow of settlers from station to gate to planet is crucial—optimize your layout to send settlers to favorable spots on the planets, securing influence.
The choice of station modules, their arrangement, and distance from airlocks to gates are all vital decisions. At the end of the game, your station’s domain placement will earn you additional points if they align with the Hawking Planet's Predominance.
Watch Out:
Be careful not to leave too many open corridors in the void—this represents a danger to your settlers, and could damage your reputation.
